Description
About Model Three Platinum
Model Three Platinum combines a radio and analogue clock in the distinctive lacquered Platinum-series cabinet. It offers an auxiliary input, headphone output and REC OUT. This earlier Platinum version differs from Model Three BT; the newer model’s Bluetooth functions do not apply to it.
Radio and external sources
First, choose your usual source: the radio tuner or an external device. Analogue tuning gives you direct control over the station. By contrast, the auxiliary input accepts sound from a compatible wired source. The source output and cable must match the radio input. In addition, your location and antenna position affect reception. If the signal is weak, try another position following the manual. Check the specification table for the exact inputs of this edition.
Before ordering
Before buying, check the dimensions together with space for cables and access to the controls. In addition, the finish selection determines the product appearance. Natural wood grain can vary, while screens reproduce colours differently. Finally, the current price and availability apply to the selected option. If a connection or function is essential for your setup, our team can help check it before you order. Use the exact model and generation when asking for advice.

Questions about this topic
Does Model Three Platinum have Model Three BT’s connectivity?
This Platinum edition is a classic AM/FM clock radio with an alarm and AUX. It should not be treated as a Bluetooth model simply because it shares the Model Three name.
