Radio with direct controls
Model One BT combines AM/FM, Bluetooth and AUX in a wood cabinet. For bedside listening and an alarm, see Model Three BT. Model Two Classic offers a separate companion speaker for stereo listening, but is distinct from the network-connected Model Two Digital.
Portable radio or portable speaker?
PAL BT USB-C offers FM, Bluetooth and a compact size. PAL+ BT USB-C adds DAB+ where available, a display and alarm. SongBook has Bluetooth, EQ and a 6.35 mm input with a preamp. The larger SongBook Max adds DAB+/FM. Compare dimensions and weight as well as appearance.
The source changes how you use it
A Bluetooth speaker does not always include a radio tuner. SongBook and Boutique use an external source, while Model One BT has AM/FM. The new PAL BT has FM and PAL+ BT has DAB+/FM. Choose for the source you actually listen to.
Finish and generation
View each finish on its product page. Natural wood grain varies and screens reproduce colours differently. Batteries, power supplies and companion speakers require the exact model and generation; an earlier PAL accessory is not automatically compatible with the new USB-C PAL.

Questions about this topic
Is every Bluetooth speaker also a radio?
No. Bluetooth describes a wireless connection, not a tuner. Model Two Digital is a speaker, whereas Model One BT includes AM/FM.
How can I compare size before buying?
Measure the surface and check dimensions with room for cables and ventilation. Do not judge physical size from the photograph alone.
